Repositioning Irelands Largest Off-licence franchise with a modern urban brewery aesthetic

Carry Out Off Licence is one of Ireland’s leading specialist off licence franchises. Having first opened its doors in 2003, the franchise has grown to over 100 stores located nationwide. The retailer commissioned TapCreative to transform the Carry Out brand experience with a comprehensive design refresh.

TapCreative was tasked with elevating the Carry Out brand experience to better connect with its customers across its store network. With over 100 stores nationwide, the retailer faced challenges in maintaining a cohesive brand identity. The goal was to redesign its store concept to create a warm, appealing and vibrant retail space that made it easier for customers to shop. Designing a clear in-store communication hierarchy was essential to bring more clarity to the shopping experience for its customers.

A new colour palette was developed, which simplified the brand to create a cohesive visual identity. Modern iconography was designed to aid customer navigation and support social and digital communications as well as their packaging creative. The store layout was enhanced with strategically located digital screens, clear navigation signage, and beautifully merchandised product displays.

This brand & retail transformation now serves as the template for all future store roll outs.
